Artwood one of the best dungeon synth projects from the modern wave!

Grackle Hard to pick a favorite track from the album with so many wonderful ones to choose from. Beryl king has such an ominous and oppressive feel to it. The album makes great use of limited percussion and the use of the tight snare sound is masterful throughout. I loved hearing about the process of Rog’s music on the Castbitten podcast. I look forward to future releases, Rog remains one of the best in dungeon synth. Favorite track: Beryl king.

"There came to our midst a stranger this night, cloaked with silver-gilded robes and a mask carved from a skull. With him tagged along a terrifying thing which he calls the Beryl King. This "king" knew not how to speak, or sit, but the stranger claims he is our key to destroying the barrier that traps us in this mysterious place. If the stranger is telling truth, we will all remain trapped here in this ruined sanctuary - until we solve the mystery of this horrible "king"..."

This album is a spiritual successor to my previous album "Delvers". The entire creative process (as it was with Delvers too) was just pure personal expression and exploration. I set out to create nothing in particular and, with time, compiled these tracks into this album. I hope that the tone of this album finds you well.

One of my favorite dungeon synth albums, and I had only heard it a few days ago for the first time. Perfect for drifting off to sleep, but also for driving under the canopy of trees. It is very soft, and pleasant, yet vast at times. The ambient forest sounds are extremely soothing. A wonderful work of art that feels as refreshing as diving into the deeps of a natural, cold spring in the eves of summer. Bjorn
